The Certified Professional (CP) program provides an alternative path to obtaining a Building Permit in the City of Vancouver and City of Surrey. By employing a CP, building owners and Architects bypass the standard building permit process and the CP acts on behalf of the City in reviewing permit documentation and providing field review. This process results in a significantly reduced permit processing time and better integrated code review during the design process.
